DJ Clay, a Detroit-based DJ, producer, rapper, and mixtape impresario, has made a significant mark in the underground hip-hop scene. Starting out at local house parties and contributing to Detroit hip-hop albums, Clay found his breakthrough in 2006 when he joined Psychopathic Records, home to the Insane Clown Posse. His on-stage success during the F.T.F.O. tour led to collaborations with Psychopathic’s roster, including Dark Lotus. In 2007, he released his debut mixtape, The W-E-R-O-B-U Mixtape, Vol. 1, followed by the Let ‘Em Bleed mixtape series on Hatchet House in 2008, cementing his reputation as a mixtape innovator. As a producer, Clay has contributed to numerous Psychopathic projects, working with artists like Twiztid and Blaze Ya Dead Homie, solidifying his status as a dynamic and versatile figure in hip-hop.
